Tagetes Lucida, also known as Mexican tarragon, yauhtli or sweet marigold, is a member of the sunflower family. It is a light green, yellow-flowered plant native to the Sierra Madre Mountains in Mexico, where it is used as a tea to soothe stomach problems, relax the nerves and relieve hangover symptoms.

In their ceremonies, the Huichol Indians claim to have visions when they smoke the herb mixed with fermented tarragon tea. The fesca herb is used all over the world for cooking, due to its anise flavor.
Effects
Tagetes lucida seems to produce all kinds of sensations, from euphoria to closed-eyed visions similar to those of the peyote cactus. The herb is also used to relax the stomach and to improve hangover sensations.
